Zero-Liability STEB Protocol

Designed to answer the traveler’s most important P2P safety question: “Did you pack this item yourself?”

Core rule: never carry a sealed unknown item

Open handoff. The sender presents the item unsealed at the gate or station.
Visual check. The traveler compares the contents with the digital manifest.
Mutual record. Both parties confirm in the deal chat that the contents match the manifest and agree on the package identifier.
End-to-end status trail. Both parties record pickup and delivery in the deal workflow, creating the current chain of responsibility.

At this stage, STEB is a contractual digital protocol, not a physical product. Numbered tamper-evident bags, polymer seals, and barcodes are not yet supplied. This keeps the MVP focused on validating demand and the deal workflow before introducing a physical STEB kit.

Autonomous disruption shield

The product specification allows deal windows to be extended automatically when flights or trains are delayed, using ADS-B or GTFS data, and supports reverse logistics after a cancellation. In the current phase, participants coordinate these cases manually through the deal chat and status workflow.
